Pretty, awful

I was so excited to try these sheets, but ultimately all they did was look pretty. My first few minutes laying in the sheets were comfy… until I started to move. I slipped and slided around. Once I did finally fall asleep, I was so incredibly overheated that my husband and I woke up both drenched in sweat despite being in frigid North Dakota. We could only handle 2 (sleepless) nights of these sheets. :(

Comfortable and stylish

I was excited to try the Juicy Couture Silly Satin Damask Sheet set as I’ve always been a cotton sheet kinda girl. Upon opening the set, the sheets were very softy and had quite a bit a static charge. Once they were washed and dried (also lots of static) I made my bed and the static quickly disappeared. The sheets have very faint stripes on them that aren’t too noticeable of a pattern. For sleeping, I didn’t experience any static but the top sheet glides around so much it doesn’t stay on well overnight. The fitted sheet is comfortable as are the pillow cases. The fitted sheet does have a tendency to shift quite a bit so I frequently have to tighten it back in the morning. I was worried I may sleep hotter with satin over cotton but I really haven’t noticed any difference. Overall, comfortable and nice set and I do enjoy the satin material - warning for anyone with even a bit of dry skin, it will stick to this material and appear scratchy.
