I have had this sofa for just over a year. It fits so well in my townhouse and goes well with my combo of modern furniture and traditional. Well-made, love the power footrest (no more feet on coffee table), leather is lovely. I'm sorry to see that some people had problems - I have had NONE. I did purchase the protection plan for the mechanism - good insurance. I have always managed to find GREAT furniture at Macy's and its predecessors. Prices are reasonable compared to other furniture stores for the quality you are purchasing. Highly recommended.

we loved the look and color and ordered loveseat and three-piece sectional...loveseat seems to hold up better for lumbar but the three-piece sectional after a month one's back was right on the board when one reclined..we tried a few different pieces and the same problem..we are hoping the loveseat won't have this problem
Great Sofa
The sofa was delivered a week ago. It looks fabulous in the space. It's well made and is extremely comfortable. The reclining feature of this sofa is the the best. No more ottoman taking up space and no more feet on the coffee table. Although I think it may have been a little overpriced, it was still a Great purchase.
Flawed Design - Poorly made
Looks great, however we purchased this sofa Sept 2014. Cushion was sagging and felt board at lumbar in first week. Macy's replaced 11/2014. Having same issue with replacement and now waiting for technician to determine if issue is reparable.... Electric Foot Rest eroding cushion from the bottom, cushion sagging after a few weeks of frequent use. Bad design, inferior product, no support. Meant for small people who don't use often!?
Not for heavy people
So disappointing. We tried the loveseat in the store and it was super comfortable. So we bought the loveseat + sofa combo. My wife finds the sofa super comfortable, but I am too heavy (240 lbs) causing the cushion to give in and I pretty much sit on the wooden plank underneath. If I add a pillow behind my back it helps, but this is not what I was hoping to need to do with a brand new sofa.
Disappointed
I was so disappointed! I finally received this Julius sofa delivered after waiting for a month or so; my excitement was completely gone when I sat on it, it was saggy like it's been used for years. The back cushion was deformed, saggy, uneven, and the seat cushion was lumpy. I could basically put my hand through between the back and seat cushion and feel the wood frame inside. I started getting neck and back pain after sitting on it for less then half an hour. It has a completely different feel than the floor sample. May be the one I received was defective, but I had Macy's picked it up and returned it. Now I'm looking for another sofa.

We are extremely happy with our new sofa and love seat. It is extremely comfortable and the quality shows. The wait was worth it!

I have only had it a week, but so far loving it. it is very comfy and is exactly what I was looking for.
