Shrinks in the wrong places

It was perfect prior to wash, I thought a little shrinkage would make it even better but after the first wash it came up really short on length, and didn’t shrink at all in width, so it’s not very flattering after washing for someone tall and slim. It’s okay. I’m just not as happy with the way it fits after washing.
