  • The result of spraying. Avoid this product!
  • This is a single pump from about 6” away. As you can see, not a fine mist. And the pump was difficult to press down.

Seems to Work

I added this to my cart on a whim. I don’t typically use detanglers because I don’t typically have a lot of tangling in my hair after a shower — I use various methods to detangle while rinsing — and I don’t generally like to use a detangler on dry hair. But I read that this one included some heat shield benefits, and I considered that my daughter might use it. I have use it twice. It has the lovely JVN product scent. I love that! It has made quick work of combing out my hair — I intentionally didn’t work through any tangles during a shower rinse once to leave tangles in place to see how the spray would do. I will say that my bottle doesn’t mist the spray out. It’s a spritz or squirt. So initial coverage of the product isn’t great. But I don’t know if that’s every bottle or just the one I got.

Wanted to love it

I wanted to love this product because I LOVE the air dry cream. But the name is a misnomer. It is NOT a mist, it has the consistency of a thin cream. So I thought I’d just keep it as a leave in conditioner, but it’s not the best at that either for my hair, nor is it a good detangler on my wavy hair. I also wish the scent were the air dry cream scent!

I bought for all my daughters it’s so good!

This spray fights Mother Nature. When it is so dry outside and gale force winds are whipping my hair in every direction, this spray keeps my hair from disaster.

Not at all a Mist!!

This is not a mist!! It shoots a stream of product into your hair making it impossible to evenly distribute (as a mist would). Doesn’t do anything for the hair and makes a mess to apply. Save your money!
