Doesn’t Suds Up — No Lather

I am in love with JVN products, so was excited to round out my routine with the shampoo and conditioner, switching from big bottles of Biotin growth stuff I got at Gabe’s (I know, I know). I used the conditioner first and loved it. The shampoo, though, seems very watery and doesn’t “suds up” in my hair. Like NO suds. I tried using several pumps with the same result so now have gone back to the other stuff. Are suds not expected? Am I doing something wrong?

Volumizing, but a tad drying

Great cleansing power, volumizing. Fragrance is decent. However, I find it a bit drying for my fine hair that has salon highlights. I don't have naturally dry hair but, this shampoo is a bit "too clarifying" for my hair.

Relieved 😌

The volumizing shampoo that I’ve been using for years has recently been discontinued, so I was desperate to find something to replace it. JVN Embody did not disappoint! It’s just as good or even better!

Not worth the money

I had high hopes for the shampoo and conditioner. But It leaves my hair dull. I have wavy hair that usually looks frizzy and big if I don’t straighten it. With this S&C it leaves my hair dull, even more so when I straighten it. The conditioner leaves a residue, and the scent is practically nothing. By day 2 my hair smells like sweat (my fiancé told me this). I will not be re-purchasing this.

Finally love my hair again!

I admit, the main reason I tried this product is because I love JVN's hair and their work on QE. My kids and I laughed and cried with JVN over the years. So as I went through menopause and was struggling with changes to me hair, I happened to hear JVN on Financial Feminist podcast. I looked up their line of products and thought I'd give it a try. WOW! I'm so glad I did! My hair is fuller and has more body and shine then it has in years. It feels better when I run my hands through it and I love the gentle earthy scent. I'll be picking up some for my kids and sending it to them, sweet memories of home and our time with JVN and the QE crew - and gorgeous hair to boot!
