Length is way off

Liked the look and the fit of this was great, BUT the length is totally off! Waaaaay too long. Why do manufacturers and designers think that the size should dictate an inseam length? This style would be very challenging to modify even by a pro seamstress. A real shame as I loved the design, the fabric quality and the hip styling. So disappointed, will have to go back.
