Glad I purchased this sweater

Previous reviews are discouraging, but I really liked this sweater so I bought it and I’m not sorry. I love that the flowers are “painted”. The fit is great buttoned or open with a turtle neck underneath. For me, this sweater is a keeper!

Painted On Flower Print

I agree with the previous (and first) reviewer. I thought that the flowers were embroidered on. The sweater itself seems of reasonable quality, and is sized generously, but the painted on flower print doesn't work-it looks inexpensive, and won't last. I bought this as a gift, but it will have to be returned. (When will I learn not to order items that have no reviews!)

No Thanks

This is a very pretty sweater. However, there are a couple of misleading points. First, the flowers are pretty, but they are not Poinsettia. Second, and most important, the flowers are painted on the fabric. The flower print is not embroidered or part of the yarn. In my experience, designs painted on fabric peel and crack after a few washes, and there is no coming back from that once it happens. Sadly, this will be returned. If this detail had been noted in the description, I would not have ordered the sweater.
