Runs big. I'm 5'4, 155 pounds and normally take a size 10. I probably could have gone with an 8. Hits about 2 inches above my knee. All in all a good purchase although a little loose.

As I get older my style has began to change. I like short skirts but being curvy don't want to deal with flashing people when I bend over. This was the first skort that I brought in ages. I was scared about the size. In dresses I wear a 12 or 14 depending on the top cut. In jeans I wear a 12. I decided to buy the light blue skort in a 12 and it fit wonderful. I ordered it in two more colors. Also I washed them before wearing them and there was no shrinkage but they did get very wrinkled. Nothing a good steamer or iron can't fix.

NO Smell, Great Skort!

Comfortable, versatile, wearable for so many occasions or just every day. I respectfully disagree with the previous reviewer that said the indigo dye made this skort unwearable. I decided to try myself and I am so very glad that I did! There was NO smell at all when I opened the bag. BTW...if you ever have a garment with an intense dye odor, try soaking & laundering with white vinegar. You won't smell the vinegar or the dye.

Another winner

I just donned my new Macy's chambray skort and it's an instant hit, offering a great look that's both stylish and comfortable for a great price. I'm getting ready to wear it for my morning walk, but it's cute and versatile enough to continue wearing throughout the day wherever I go.

Smell is awful

Runs very large. Definitely size down. This material has a horrible smell to it that has yet to come out, even after multiple washes. It is so overpowering I can hardly wear it all day. I think it is the dye as it smells like cheap jeans often do. I would have returned due to this, but thought I could get it out after a few washes. It hasn't gotten better and I can't wash with any other clothes or they smell the same.
