Nice shirt – runs very large

When I saw this shirt and that it was on sale I was really excited. I love the puff sleeves and the white detailing down the front. Macy’s recommended that I get a medium which is my normal size but when I put the shirt on I was swimming in it. The fabric and everything else about the shirt is perfect but I had to return it for a small. For reference I’m 5’10” tall, 148, 38C.
