Item never received. Terrible service

The item was not received and the customer service is very poor. When orders are placed, it matters not where it is shipped once payment is received. However, when requesting a replacement it has to be shipped to the address of the order. What if I am at another location at the item and prefer to use another address on file? These alternatives should be offered particularly when the address is on file. Macys has to do a better job of resolving matters in an acceptable way especially when the error is the fault of the organization. Better effort has to be placed on quality control to ensure the correct and complete order is received. This is very frustrating and disappointing.
