Love the Color But Darn Those Buttons

Usually tufted sofas with buttons are so deeply pulled you never feel the buttons when you sit down. This is not the case with this sofa. The buttons are really uncomfortable if you are laying down, and in the 7 months that I've had this sofa 5 buttons have popped off! I would actually prefer to rip them all off and just sew up the holes. And you cant really take the cushion covers off to wash them. Otherthan that the sofa is comfy and modern... but I'll be upgrading in my next move for sure.

Great couch, no issues with the buttons

So I waited to post this review because there were so many complaints about the buttons on this couch. We have had the couches for 8 months and have had no issues at all. We don't have kids but we have two dogs and three cats and the couches have held up wonderfully. They are beautiful and quite comfortable. We get lots of compliments on them as well. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

We've had this couch in praline for over 6 months. It's still in awesome condition with zero of the button issues. It has daily use with 2 adults, 3 kids, a dog and a cat! Great piece of furniture!

Buttons fall off

Attractive couch, but the buttons on the cushions fall off after very little use. At first they fall off and then snap back into place. Then they just fall apart b

One year later... still loving it!

I've had my Karlie couch (in praline) for a year now, and I'm still loving it! I was looking for something with a mid-century vibe but without the massive price tag and this couch has fit the bill. I'd rate it a 4.5 rating out of 5 based on the price point and quality - too bad half stars aren't an option. I have to say I'm surprised to see so many issues from other reviewers regarding this couch, because after a year of daily use (in a household with adults + a cat), the couch still looks great. I haven't lost any button covers and though I have had the odd button or two pop up after getting snagged on clothing, I've just popped the buttons right back into place and they've stayed there - I can't pull them back up. For maintenance, I've been flipping the back and seat cushions every 3 months to make sure they wear evenly; this has worked nicely. And the fabric has held up well so far. Our cat isn't prone to clawing furniture (thank goodness!), but even when her claws happen to catch the fabric, there hasn't been any damage. Cat hair does get caught in the tight weave of the fabric though, so I have to vacuum the cushions intermittently and/or use a lint roller. But such is life with an animal friend. Overall this has been a great purchase in our household - and a hit with guests! I expect to get several years use out of this couch provided it continues to age well. I'm bummed out for everyone that's had a negative experience. I wonder if I somehow got a model that was better constructed than others? It seems like there could be inconsistency in quality based on the split reviews. Or maybe my maintenance routine has made a big difference. Who knows?

Button issue is no joke!

I had two of these sofas delivered 2 months ago. I had read the reviews about the button issue and I hesitated to buy them, but I loved the style and so I made my purchase. My thought was that if Macy's was selling the product, that it must be made well. Big Mistake! After 6 weeks, I had already had a button pop off! The issue is that when you sit on the cushion, the foam compresses and the buttons pop up and flop around. The buttons then get caught on your clothing when you stand up or move. I assume that the cushion will naturally compress more with use, then buttons will pop up even further than they are now. I am very disappointed that I did not listen to the warnings from other reviews. Don't make the same mistake I did. I love the fabric and style of the sofa, but the reality is that the buttons are a major issue. Luckily I had bought the warranty with Macy's. I do have to give Macy's credit for addressing my issue quickly.

I love my marmalade

I was taken aback when we walked in the Macy's show room and my husband chose this sofa. The marmalade color isn't too shocking. It's very nice. Most importantly, the sofa is super comfortable. After a long day's work I look forward to laying on it and reading a good book. Prior to purchasing the sofa, I read some reviews, which claimed that the buttons in the sofa malfunctioned and broke. I haven't had this experience. But then again, I've only owned the sofa for 2 weeks now. It seems that the manufacturer must've fixed this issue. The buttons on my sofa barely move. I love, love, love it.....

Button Issue - Don't Buy

Also have button issues. The first time I had company 5 buttons came off and you cannot just put them back on because they unravel. Loved the look initially but DO NOT BUY. With missing buttons the sofa looks terrible.
