1st Kate Spade disappointment

I love everything Kate Spade-her clothes, accessories, home fashions, etc... This is my 1st KS disappointment. PROs: I got this in gray. It is more of a pale taupe than gray, but that was fine with me, actually preferable The only reason I am giving this 2 stars instead of one is because it is beautiful. Fun and classy at the same time. CONs: It had .a strange smell to it...which other reviews have said, too....but not so bad that I returned it without trying to fix it. So I washed it and dried per the instructions....That just made it worse- I mean REALLY bad. The inside (which I think is foam, which surprises me for such an expensive comforter) turned into a bunch of balls, with some areas having huge lumps and some completely flat. Heartbroken because I LOVE it. But I had no choice but to return it. It looked awful...REALLY awful..... My suggestion is if you love it, don't wash it- sounds crazy....but it will get ruined in the dryer.

Not blue

This comforter is extremely warm, but the blue ink blead all over the white parts of the material on both the comforter and pillow cases, making it look smeared and very unattractive. Not sure if the gray or yellow has the same problem, but will not buy blue again.

Cute modern design

I didn’t use it yet but tried it on my bed and it looks adorable. I ordered grey polka dot, it fits great on queen bed and cotton seems to be a good quality. I wish it came with sheets, but with this set I can use any white sheets. I love that comforter has two sides so I can change it from time to time.
