Top choice after trying hundreds of others!
I like the 3 dimensional feel of the handles along with the slight weight to them. The thing I looked most for was forks and spoons that were not too large, and a knife that had good balance in the hand. I also love that the design is minimal but not boring. It's just perfect. We use this every day. I only have 4 place settings so far, and that works out fine for 3 people.

I absolutely love this flatware. It is just heavy enough. Looks and feels very expensive. Can very easily be dressed up or down.
Looks good in the pictures, but...
This set looks great from afar but, when you actually hold them it is a completely different story. They are much lighter weight that I expected. The main disappointment is the quality, for this price I had much higher expectations. There are gaps where the handle meet the shaft, this will cause issue in cleaning and overtime with moisture. On the teaspoon and salad forks the handle is larger that where it meets the shaft and you feel the rough edge of the handle, if attention and care had been taken in the manufacture and design this should be flush. Also, where the hollow handle is closed on the end some of the pieces had pit marks. Overall very poor quality.
Very nice, but not practical
I had never purchased silverware before (although I really appreciated “hand-me-downs” from my parents when I went off to college, because I didn’t have much at the time!) so shopping for a real set was pretty exciting! My fiancé and I spent quite a bit of time holding different sets of silverware, twirling them around, seeing what patterns we liked best and finally decided on the Kate Spade New York “Todd Hill” 5-piece place setting. (Yes, I was a little giddy to have Kate Spade in my kitchen!!) The set was a nice weight and looked very stylish. Our friends and family were VERY generous with gifts and we received 14 of the 16 place settings we registered for. So when it came time to set up our kitchen, I took out the silverware and played with it one more time before I was ready to wash them and start using them. I’m glad that I did! When we were at the store, I hadn’t noticed the only pattern on the pieces is a rounded circle and it hits you right where your finger is when holding the silverware properly. That would drive me nuts, so this set is not practical for me. So I am going to exchange them for a different set. (Again, Macy’s customer service is outstanding – they are very helpful and accommodating!)
Love this flatware
My husband and I registered for this flatware for our wedding. We've used it for a year now, and are very pleased. It's heavier than other stainless patterns we considered, and nicely weighted. My only complaint was that it was rarely in stock at Macy's stores in my area, so we received few place settings as gifts. This was especially inconvenient as most of our guests were local, and didn't wish to pay for shipping.
