wrong Item Completely

I had waited longer than usual for this Christmas gift to arrive and could not believe it when I opened the package. They were completely different earrings. Not even close to what I ordered. How does this even happen?? This is the second Macy’s item I have received that is not what I ordered. I now have to go to the store in the Christmas rush because Macy’s cannot handle online orders anymore.
