Update ... Really Bad Purchase

This is an update on my previous, one star review. Originally I received a pair of boots with multiple imperfections. I contacted Macy's customer service, and without hesitation, the representative agreed to expidite another pair to me in exchange for my original purchase. Thank you Macy's for your continual excellent customer service. I just received the new pair and am really excited ... no imperfections! This boot is really stylish. I wear a 6.5, which is the size I ordered. They fit perfectly and are true to size. I have slim legs and they wrap around snuggly, which is what I like. I gave 5 stars, solely based upon the attractiveness of the boot. I have not worn them yet, but having tried them on for size, they are extremely comfortable. Insofar as durability, only time will tell, but I am looking forward to wearing them.

Really Bad Purchase!

Just received these boots. Packaging was perfect. However, when I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was black shoe polish on the tissue paper. The first boot I took out of the box, has strange marks all the way down the leg portion of the boot. The other boot, on the shoe side of the boot, it's a different color and looks like someone had tried polishing it. Probably why the tissue paper contained polish marks. Don't get me wrong, the boots have a very nice style to them, except for the fact they contain all these imperfections, I am unable to return them since they were apparently on final sale, which is just plain wrong. If an item is purchased and it's defective, then the manufacturer should at least exchange them for another pair, which I would be more than willing to do.

Wonderful Dressy Riding Boot

Love these "dressy" riding boots. I bought a size 7 and they fit fine without thick socks. Go up a size if wearing with heavy socks. Also the calf area is a bit snug. Fortunately, my calves are on the thinner side, however, the leather will stretch. The small gold decorative piece on the heel and the buckle add a dressy flare with a dress or slacks. I'm very pleased and will wear them this weekend to the theatre!

Lovely boot!

The boots are very nice. Unfortunately, the calf circumference it too big for me. A lovely boot!

Love these Boots!

I ordered these boots for my daughter and they are absolutely a beautiful pair of boots! We wear the same size and they fit perfect. I was looking for them in brown for myself, but don't see any other color at this time. Would highly recommend!

Incorrect sizing

The sizes were way off. I wear 6 1/2 and ordered a 6 1/2. I could not even get my foot inside of them. Ordered multiple styles. All were sized incorrectly.
