I experienced a severe reaction after using this serum; my skin became painfully burned, swollen, and started to peel quite badly. I’ve used numerous facial products in the past without any issues, so this reaction was completely unexpected. The discomfort was intense, and my face took on a red, irritated appearance that was difficult to hide. If you consider trying this product, please proceed with caution, as it has left my skin in a distressing state.

Full of chemicals

It was foolish of me to order this without reading the ingredient list. I assumed a serum claiming to boost skin radiance wouldn’t also be full of harsh chemicals, but sadly this petrochemical infused serum is full of avobenzone and other petroleum-derived substances. It doesn’t feel good on my skin, it’s not safe to wear in the ocean, and it’s not safe for my endocrine system. Kiehl’s: if you care about healthy, radiant skin, can you make a safe, mineral version?

I am bummed about this product! I like the serum consistency. It went on well and wasn’t too greasy. I still got burnt using it though, even after reapplying every 90 minutes.
