I have used this product consistently for 30+ years and recently stocked up again, not realizing the formula is completely different now. Kiehl's absolutely ruined this product -- it dried out my lips to the point of them peeling. Returning all of the tubes I bought and will have to search for a new lip balm to rely on. So sad about this!

Good basic lip balm that works
Love this product. The applicator isn’t my favorite but the overall product is great. It keeps my lips hydrated and shiny. I definitely recommend this product and all things from this brand.

Great product mediocre applicator
I have the mint scented one and I like it a lot, but I don’t like how the applicator isn’t shaped like a lip gloss one. So, you either have to use your finger or try to put in on straight from the tube which can make the top get messy and nasty. A little thicker consistency than vaseline and stays on a decent amount of time. Reminds me of the glossier balm dot calm but better for the lips.

PLEASE BRING BACK OLD FORUMLA
from the hundreds/thousands of 1 star reviews after Kiehls changed the formulation, it is apaprent that nobody wants the new reformulation, PLEASE bring back the old formula. So disappointed to find that the lip blam I have used since BIRTH has suddenly changed and will be sadly and slowly using up my old tubes. Kiehls has no loyalty to long-standing customers by changing its formulas and claiming it's the same product. Why would I make your products my staples when you can go and change them at any moment? Currently use the shampoo and conditioner as well, but if the lip balm continues to have the horrible new formula I plan to stop using Kiehls as a whole, as I cannot trust that Kiehls products will stay true to formulations.

WHAT HAPPENED???
Went from best product to worst product. I have used this lip balm religiously every single night for 25+ years and I swore by it. Recently I bought a new tube and noticed that it was a different color but didn't think much of it. However a few days after using it I realize that my lips were very dry and cracking. I compared the ingredients of the new tube to my old one and saw that they were different. WHY? I just want to know why companies always mess with their products that had a cult following and was already perfect the way it was. Why do you guys feel the need to mess with something that didn't need to be messed with. I will never buy another tube of this lip balm nor recommended it as long as it's this new formula. It does the exact opposite of what the old formula does. I'm truly disappointed and sad that after 25+ years I now have to go find a new Lip balm.
