Shrunk after one wash

I purchased three different pairs of pants from this brand, and unfortunately, all three shrank significantly after just one wash. I washed on delicate in cold water and laying flat to dry...but the fabric still shrank. It seems like the water alone was enough to alter their size. I’ve never experienced anything like it. It’s a shame because the pants are really cute when first worn, but after washing, they end up fitting more like skinny pants or leggings. Definitely not worth the money unless you never plan to wash them.
