The gold is not so gold. It is more of a pewterish gold. When picking it up, I tough that they had given me the pewter colored one, but is not as dark. So keep that in mind. Is not gold like iphone gold (that’s the color I was trying to get), but it is still nice and roomy and my 10 yr old loves it. It was part of her b-day~great student gift. That is the only reason for the 4 star and not 5.

Nice roomy cute bag, one star off because I wish the interior of the major compartment is fully lined (it is only half lined).

Beautiful backpack
The quality of the material is excellent. The backpack looks luxurious because of the glimmer and shine of the silver color that is unique. There is plenty of space and places to store items inside. A nice plus is that it comes with protection for a 15" laptop. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I have this backpack in another color. I guess they changed it a little because the middle pocket now only has 1 zipper instead of two. It's not a big deal, but I kind of like having the 2 zippers (like the large main compartment). They did add two pouches on the side for water bottles. That's a nice addition. It's a great lightweight backpack for travel. Lots of pockets and storage.

Best Travel Backpack
I traded in my beloved Fjallraven Kanken in for this Kipling Seoul Backpack. It had more room, two pockets on the side for a water bottle container and/or small umbrella. It has a secret pocket on top for quick to get to things like money or lip balm. Coming from the Kanken, I love, love, love the padded straps and the fact that the material is a bit more flexible. I took this backpack on a trip to Marfa, Texas and a two week honeymoon trip around State Parks in Texas and we stayed in five different campgrounds where it rained every single day and the backpack held up very well. It is my new favorite traveling companion! So much so that I ordered two more items from Kipling. I love this brand!
