Broke on first use (Error of manufacturer?)
My Mixer broke after its first use on cookie dough! I had gotten this product a month ago, came in perfect condition, read the manual, did the dime test, looked at what attachments to use for what, and what speeds. Whipped my sugar and butter at around 5-6 speed. Went to 1/2 speed when I started adding the flower as recommended for cookies/ dough. When it started to mix, the motor suddenly stopped. We tested the outlets, checked the chord connection to make sure it wasn't loose, tried running it without the bowl, and it just would not start! I was so upset because I thought this would last me years! I took every precaution, and on first use, it broke. Definitely a manufacturer error, or they just don't make them like they used to. I really like this brand, and people around me have had their mixers for a while. I'm hoping this can get fixed and fast! Hopefully I can change my review :(

No tipping back
It's ok. I am having a hard time getting used to a mixer that doesn't tip backwards to add or scrape the bowl. So..I can't give it a great rating.

VERY disappointed! If it's not right don't ship it
10 minute +/- run time on speed 3 making cookies right out of the box and it just quit. Not hot just quit! Contacted KA and they replaced immediately. New one came and same thing happened. Contacted KA again and it seems they are having an issue with 5.5 & 7 qt mixers but are sending them out anyway (great way to lose current and future customers). Also, only 1 person processing returns so have to wait 2-3 weeks to verify returning original before moving forward with new replacement. Used a KA mixer for 17 years with no issues until owner left with it. If not for that longevity I would be demanding a refund instead of giving 2 other chances to make it right. No more!

Disappointed
I'm so disappointed. On first use, the paddle did maybe 3 rotations and then stopped. Now it won't turn on at all. The outlet is good, everything is connected properly. I was so looking forward to baking with this new mixer. (Just purchased 9/2.) What a drag.

Great mixer

Replace painted attachments
Bought this stand mixer about 5 months ago for a stronger motor for making bagel dough. So far it has functioned very well! This morning after making a batch of cookies I noticed paint chipped off of the stock paddle attachment when using the stock bowl. Huge bummer to have to remake the cookie dough due to paint chips! This is not safe and should not be happening.. Hopefully they reconsider paint covered attachments, if you’re buying this recommend upgrading those immediately.

Disappointment
I bought it 2 days ago I started to make loaf dough after 3 minute literally stop mixer not even warm just stop after 3 minute first use unbelievable. That is my second stand mixer first one was extremely well made no problem no issues but this is sorry to say but junk big time disappointment.
