Seems unnecessary
My kids have used this more than I have, pretending it’s some sort of monster. If I made casseroles and sheets cakes often, I could see the appeal. Also, it takes up too much space in already packed drawers.

Very Nice!
This giant casserole mitt is pretty and so useful! You can use it to remove hot dishes from the oven or microwave. I am prone to burning myself in the kitchen so the more things I can have to protect myself the better!

OK
I HAD NO IDEAL OF THIS PRODUCT WAS IN STORES I ALWAYS USED POT HOLDERS OR OVEN MITTS OR EVEN MY KITCHEN TOWELS WHICH EVER WAS THE CLOSES AT THE TIME THAT I NEEDED IT SO I TRIED THIS CASSEROLE MITT IT WAS OK BUT I JUST LIKE MY POT HOLDERS BETTER

Love!
I must say I’m impressed with this KitchenAid casserole Mitt. I somehow often lose a mitt when using a pair set of oven mitts. I love that this mitt is a single mitt that hangs on my oven handle beautifully. I won’t have to worry misplacing a mitt again as this single mitt is double sided. I love the gingham print and the muted matte grey color. It’s great quality, thick and functional. My hands and forearms are safe from the heat when putting and taking out things from the oven. I love the feeling that I know I’m safe from the heat. The mitt is heat resistant up to 400°F. I’ve used this mitt up to 375°F with no issue. The mitt is also easy to clean and machine washable. I had no issues throwing this into the washer and then air drying it.

Does the Job
First, the color is perfect because it matches the color scheme in my kitchen. Second, I like that its long and the mitts are connected as opposed to having to keep track of a pair or just using dish towels. Comes in handy since I've been making cakes and casseroles. A kitchen staple, would recommend.

Super nice casserole mitt! Very nicely constructed and high quality! It is a wonderful length and thickness. I haven’t had any issues picking up a variety of different sized pans, dishes, and more. It has silicone grips waves to help with your grip on different materials. It is thick enough to protect my hands. Very happy with this casserole mitt!

Super Cute
This is a well made and really cute oven mitt. It's thick enough to keep you from burning yourself, but thin enough that you can actually use your fingers to grab the dish. Because of the length of the mitt, it does take up a good bit of space so it may be difficult to find a good place to store it. It does have a small loop for hanging if your kitchen layout allows for that.

Excellent Multipurpose Oven Mitt
Well if you do not have one of these, do not hesitate to get one. We keep this unit in our oven handle and use it all the time to remove hot items from both the oven and stove. It can also be used as a quick kitchen towel although I would prefer to keep it nice looking and only used for hot items.
