Kitchenaid Not What It Used to Be
We were gifted this blender and have used it under 10 times. The blender itself works very well. However, the pan guard is horrible. The idea is great, but it never fit snugly. It regularly came of during use. It finally found its way under the blades and was shredded in a sauce I was making. There are so many tiny plastic pieces in the sauce that I had to throw out the whole batch. The guard has come off before, so now I'm wondering how much of this plastic I've eaten. I'm shocked this hasn't been recalled because this is a choking hazard, in addition to a health concern. And since the blades are so close to the bottom of the blender, I worry this will scratch my pots if I don't use a guard. This is our 2nd Kitchenaid product to show its poor quality this year alone, so we'll be looking at other brands for a replacement blender.

Rubbish. Waste of money
Worked intermittently and then died completely just out of warranty. Not worth the money.

Excellent tool
I’ve always thought about buying a hand blender, but there was always something needed more. However, I decided the time has come for me to own one. Kitchenaid has always been my favourite place to go for my kitchen needs, sadly I had to do with cheaper models in the past. Not this time! I am thrilled with my purchase and wish I hadn’t waited so long to buy one. Absolutely wonderful for blending soups, drinks and more.

Easy to Hold
Bought this to replace a broken one of a different brand. The Kitchen Aid Hand Blender is so much more comfortable and lighter to hold. Very happy

Guard falls apart and CA price is 5 times US price
Got this a few months ago. Second time useage and the guard fell off and ended up being chopped up into the food. Pieces of plastic were left in the food. I tried to upload images and other details. Web site wouldn't allow it. Canadian replacement price is about 5 times the US replacement price for a piece of plastic. I will 3D print throwaway parts before paying this price. Poor quality and service.

One of my favorite things to use now!
This was my 1st time having a hand mixer & I must say I’m impressed! I have made so many sauces with this thing since receiving it! It’s very powerful so it works amazingly, it’s quiet to use, and very safe! I would highly recommend this product to anyone! It’s an amazing thing to have around!
