Luxurious Feel But Stings

I so wanted to love this creme! It goes on so soft, so luxuriously; I loved how it sunk into my skin. But then it started to sting, and did not stop. I don't know why, as I've never had this problem before. I did the skin test on my underarm, of course, and it was fine. In fact, I did it twice. And I tried the creme on my face twice. But both times, the stinging started, as did my face feeling like it was turning red (not sure if it was, it just felt that way). So I had to get in the shower and wash it off. Twice. It's so difficult to find a moisture creme that doesn't have fragrance in it: I really thought this was the one! (And just why DO so many face cremes have heavy, cloying, potentially irritating fragrances in them? Why do manufacturers think we need our hair products, skin care products, laundry products, and even under-arm products loaded with heavy fragrances? This isn't the 1300's; we bathe now.) Anyway, I think this is a great face creme, just not for my face.

So hydrating!!!! My skin loves it!!!!

I started using this as a replacement for something by Pacifica that is no longer made and was heartbroken until I started using this cream. It so so rich and hydrating. My skin is painfully dry and damaged but absolutely soaked this up. My skin feels so soft and smooth and hydrated and dewy and healthy and happy! And that makes me so happy to find my new favorite moisturizer. It may be a bit thick for summer but this is amazing for my cold damaged dry skin. It’s a bit pricey but a little goes a long way. Just wished I’d stocked up when it was on sale.
