Burns and Stings face

i started using this night balm about two weeks ago and my face is burning and stings. I cant tell if that is how the balm feels or its not good for my face.

I so wished this to be an amazing product!

My skin has never been and is not sensitive. And I have been using the classic La Mer collection without any issues. Whatever has gone into this one, causes red spots / rashes on my face, as well as tingling / itching / burning sensation. Separate review on eye cream to follow, but there's something about the Genaissance series that goes against my healthy skin and body.
