SHIPPED WITH NO TAGS ATTACHED

Macy's has a horrible policy of sending jewelry items w/o any tags attached. I just don't get it. I don't order ANYTHING from any other store that sends items w/o tags. If I bought it in a Macy's store, the item would have tags. Why aren't online buyers entitled to have descriptive tags? I am uncomfortable as to how Macy's even keeps the inventory organized & differentiated when nothing has tags. That is especially so when there are cheap, fake items being sold that aren't discernible with the buyer's untrained, naked eye. How would I know if I received cubic zirconia or moissanite? Second, anyone would wonder WHY. What is the purpose of REMOVING tags from items when they are shipped? Lastly, I (& most people I know) don't give gifts w/o tags because it looks like I could have grabbed something out of my closet & gave it as a gift. This is just bad in so many ways & I can't conceive of why Macy's management thought "removing tags" was a great idea. I will never buy jewelry here again

Very nice. Wish the clasp was designed better. Box clasps, when made in silver, can be iffy.
