Unexpectedly troubling experience

I liked the Lacoste Mens Interlock joggers, which I purchased as a gift while traveling in another city. However, the person for whom I got this sports product found the texture/quality of the fabric discomforting. So, I had to return this item to the store in my hometown. Unexpectedly, I encountered an issue returning this product, because the store clerk in the other city had used the wrong tag to process the purchase. Thus, the store clerk in my hometown kept claiming that they could not accept the return, even though it was not my fault that the purchase was not originally processed correctly in the other town store. This made my experience of buying/returning this product disconcerting, as I felt the store blamed me for a problem created by their own employee(s).
