Clump or not?

I was looking for a mascara that doesn’t clump and I was assured that this product is THE ONE. Well, it’s pretty good, but there’s still clumping. I’m told that clumping occurs as the product gets old ( and loses moisture)but this is brand new. I want it to be excellent; it’s not quite there.
