Not impressed just isn't working for me

I have tried this several times just can't seem to get it to look good on my skin. I have very dry skin this may be the problem.

Additionally, finishing with a hydrating setting spray will help melt the powder into your skin for a seamless finish. This is my go too for powder. I love the versatility of application and finishes. I can add more coverage by using a sponge or keep it light weight with a powder brush.
