None elastic band around ankle. Made in China

A few years back I ordered a pair of silk long underwear and they did not hold up all that well. The more problematic part was the string around the ankle making it difficult to take on and off without damaging the product. A good brand would have any elastic band around the ankle. The tag on the product claims it's 100% something written in Chinese not English so I assume it is silk

Stop! Do not buy!

This product was a total disappointment. . The fabric is very thin, velcro on ski pants and jacket is the kiss of death. Sticks to this thin fabric and can rip holes easily. Bought Christmas presents for Grandkids to take skiing in Vale and Breckinridge, Colorado. Thank goodness they had backups. Recommend you spend your money on something else more reliable.

My husband cold weather go to!

I bought several last year for my husband. He loves silk shirts. His go to on cold and as an undershirt on really cold days. (We live in the mountains of VA) Must be washed on gentle cycle cold and short time on low in the dryer for them to keep looking good.

Follow care instructions

Bought this for my partner who is 6'1" with long arms. We have found that Lands End Tall sizes fit well and this was no exception. It has plenty of length in the arms. However, we chose to hand wash and line dry instead of machine wash on delicate, just to be sure there was no shrinkage or damage to the fabric.

Tall not Tall

I have a long back and arms so I was excited to see the Tall sizing options. Unfortunately Tall is not tall at all. Even before the first wash the sizing gave me doubts but needed the shirt so opted to keep it. Washing it shortened it significantly, especially on sleeves. Material is great and with proper Tall sizing it would be a five star shirt.
