I bought this sweatshirt a couple weeks ago and was surprised at how poor the quality was. I've purchased this sweatshirt for my daughter every year, and I've never had an issue with it, until this recent purchase. My daughter wears a collared shirt underneath it and came home from school covered in lint that was all over her collared shirt and eve her skirt. The inside of this sweatshirt molted and shed everywhere. I ran it through the wash inside out multiple times to try to correct the problem, and it continued to make a mess. There was lint everywhere! The quality of this sweatshirt has deteriorated so much. I won't make this purchase again. To replace it, and stay within my daughter's dress code, I purchased crew neck sweaters from Primary instead. Stay away from this sweatshirt. It's a mess.

Quality is declining
I have been buying Lands End uniform sweatshirts for the last 14 years. The quality continues to decline. The fabric continues to get thinner. The price gets higher. It used to be that you could count on Land End. If my school did not require it, I would not buy it.

I bought this for my son who is 6 & he loves it ! I wash gentle cycle and hang dry & it feels like new after each time. We had some hammy downs given to us same size but they were washed regular cycle and put in dryer . So they had shrunk and we’re not soft anymore.

Tight Fit
My daughter hates wearing this sweatshirt. Their school requires them to wear the sweatshirt every Friday. The fit is so tight and it shrinks with every wash. Very poor quality. I wish Dennis uniform did not closed down. They had a better materials.
