Percale is a wonderful fabric for summer sheets. They come out of wash and dry, when laundered on their own, looking great. I do iron all of my pillowcases, an OCD alert on me, but they do not really need it.

Cute navy camping pillow cases look just like pic
Just got this set of two camping pillowcases and they look exactly like the picture, same rich colors. This cotton percale has a nice cool smooth feel to my hand. Against my cheek, it doesn't feel quite as smooth, but I wouldn't say it is "rough". This is before washing. The tread count on these is 180 per sq. inch. (The best thread count range for Percale sheets is said to be 180 to 300 because they are designed to be breathable and a higher count would interfere with that. Some people say that 200 to 300 that the sweet spot for both softness and breathability.) Anyway they fit standard size pillows and look great on either twin bed or queen beds. I'm going to buy another set to send to my sister, since she loves to camp and they are so dang cute. I'll try to take a pic and send that later.

Very thin, but silky-soft
My daughter is a teenager, but when she saw these kids' pillowcases with the charming, cheerful pink graphic floral print, she asked for them as a birthday gift. They just arrived today, and I was surprised at how thin they are, but the weave is very tight and they're very silky to the touch, so I'm hoping they'll hold up well over time.
