Classy and classic tote!

I like this tote and use it for work. There is enough space for a small book and lunch bag. (as well as a small bottle of water) I consider it a classic!

Disappointment

I received this bag for my birthday at the end of March. I was so happy with size and appearance. Unfortunately, by April the side pocket had ripped. I never put anything other than a cell phone in the pocket. Disappointed in the quality.

Different from previous purchase in 2012

The bag is very beautiful in its own right, but it is different from the Lands' End cotton canvas bag which I purchased over 10 years ago and which is made of stiff, white canvas and is very roomy and light weight (although they are both the same size.) I use it for errands, and it is perfect for this purpose. The new style is made of soft cotton, and due to the extra fabric for partitions and the zippered closure it is much heavier, and it is now more like an every-day, use-for-work tote. I ultimately returned the new tote because the fabric is soft, and thus the bag does not stand up like my old canvas bag does.

Love all the totes

I have a couple of these bags through out the year. One my I washed and my throw in the dryer, and it shrunk. But the colors have never ran. Now living in the PNW I want one that zips closed. I have used these bags for everything, from the pool to baby bag to book bag.

Huge spacious tote

We are trying to go through stuff now so that our kids don't have to wade through all of the items we have saved for them. I put most of the stuff for one kid in this bag. There will of course be more as I keep going through "stuff". This bag held sooo much of the stuff I had been saving from baby stuff to school events.
