Nice jacket
I purchased this jacket for a young man’s 13th birthday. He was thrilled when he opened it. The jacket is made well and fits true to size. The color is as shown on the online order. It is a good jacket for fall and spring as it is not made for very cold weather. Rather, it will keep the chill off in the fall and spring.

Good idea, poor execution
I own the classic squall jacket and love it, had it for years. I bought this jacket, thinking it would be a good transitional season jacket, for colder rainy fall outings. Unfortunately I had to return it. Fit is too big and bulky, the outer material is heavy, stiff, feels like recycled plastic. I would not recommend it

Great fit, loose waist band
I needed a lightweight, well-fitting black jacket. This is almost perfect. Things I would change: ditch the logo on the front, it’s tacky; remove the inner label, it catches on shirts and pulls the mesh lining, go printed like everyone else; improve the waistband, it’s insipidly weak.

Piping on the collar peels off.
My husband loves this jacket for cool summer evenings. But unfortunately the thin piping around the collar has peeled away in parts leaving the piping white, not navy. Looks cheap. He really doesn’t wear it any more.

It has it good points and bad points
My husband's jacket arrived very quickly which was great. However, when we opened up the jacket, we immediately didn't like the fabric. I have to agree with others that it is a very crinkled, noisy, and stiff fabric. Threw it in the washer hoping it would soften up but it really didn't seem to make a difference. We like that it has reflective fabric and the zippers are great on the pockets. Happy that it came in a tall too. It will be good lightweight jacket to take on our trip but everyone will hear him coming!
