Lands' EndMen's Short Sleeve Cotton Supima Polo Shirt

Very comfortable.

I have had a few of these polo shirts and, if you avoid the in-your-face colours, they are great.

Bit of a fiasco

Firstly I bought it in XL ( my size) had to return and bought L both of the above far too big. Finally i ordered M and it fits correctly. All other XL I purchase from many shops fit correctly so Lands end ought to sort out their sizing.

Tall size suggestion

I went through a couple attempts at getting this shirt. I have started buying medium tall shirts from Lands End and I have made a couple observations that might be helpful. 1. If the shirt is made of cotton like Supima Polo or Comfort-First Mesh Pique Polo the tall will be long until the first wash where it will shrink to the correct size. I rate this shirt true to size for the tall, but only after a wash! 2. If the shirt is made of polyester like Performance Snap Polo, Active Polo, Active Pique Polo, etc the shirt will not shrink and the tall will be too long. Generally the regular medium is ~28 inches measured along the back of the shirt and the tall medium can be up to 33 inches. I define long as the shirt goes well below my pockets requiring me to lift up my shirt to get my hands in my pockets.

Good shirt.

This is a very nice shirt, better for some reason than the one that I bought from LEnd a few years ago. It's lighter in weight and fits better (less restrictive in some way--both are size Large). Definitely recommend this one.

Excellent quality and holds up

My 6"3" son has had about 5 of these short sleeve supima polos over the past 2-3 yrs. He is a men's Tall Large. They hold up extremely well even when worn frequently in work settings in which he has to do inspections of equipment. However, the color appearance online and the color name is often way off from the color when the shirt arrives. Most recent example was the "Pale Slate Blue". It is not pale, it is a deeper color. He had one in Soft Blue Haze which I was trying to replace. This is frustrating and expensive, given having to pay for shipping AND pay to return. Also, I wish you had some availability of the Mens Tall in stores rather than only online.

Comfortable Fabric

The fabric is so comfortable! The color is great with navy or khaki shorts or blue jeans. It comes out of the dryer beautifully!

Problem collar

The collar has a problem. The front Points on the front of the collar have an indentation that folds out. It will not lay flat. I tried ironing it then I tried washing it and ironing it, but the indentation is still there so sad about that because we like the shirt otherwise.

happy with shirt really needed 2 others but were back ordered for a month
