Not up to Lands’ End quality standards.
Bought this to go along with my regular Classic Squall Jacket. Very disappointed in the outer layer fabric, as opposed to nice fabric on the regular one the lightweight one has outer fabric that reminds me of stiff cardboard.

Piping on the collar peels off.
My husband loves this jacket for cool summer evenings. But unfortunately the thin piping around the collar has peeled away in parts leaving the piping white, not navy. Looks cheap. He really doesn’t wear it any more.

It has it good points and bad points
My husband's jacket arrived very quickly which was great. However, when we opened up the jacket, we immediately didn't like the fabric. I have to agree with others that it is a very crinkled, noisy, and stiff fabric. Threw it in the washer hoping it would soften up but it really didn't seem to make a difference. We like that it has reflective fabric and the zippers are great on the pockets. Happy that it came in a tall too. It will be good lightweight jacket to take on our trip but everyone will hear him coming!

Wow, the compliments!
This jacket has been perfect for the un-winter-like weather we've had in Michigan this year. Paired with a sweater of any kind/weight, it has done a superb job of keeping me warm. As a bonus, I can't believe the number of compliments I've gotten from friends and complete strangers when I've had it on. People especially seem to like the cool mint colour, with many of them saying it looked like a bit of spring in the cool days we've had. I probably could have fit nicely into an extra large, but went a size up so it would easily accommodate a sweater underneath it. I'd definitely recommend it!

Feels Like a Plastic Bag
Uncomfortable to wear, fabric that feels like coarse plastic. Not the same material as the old squall jacket I was replacing.
