The Jury is Still Out

Over the last couple of years, I have ordered and returned se pairs of women’s board shorts due to the lack of styling features I like. I have board shorts from years ago that were styled like men’s board shorts that had Velcro closures and pockets on the legs where you could actually store something. Although I ordered these to wear as shorts over my bikini bottoms when I’m doing water activities, I’m not happy with the style or lack of functionality of the pockets. Unfortunately, it looks like the styling is here to stay. Please bring back the previous style for the board shorts.

Black dye bleeds!

Buyer beware -- great shorts, very comfy, great fit and style but the black ones (at least) REALLY bleed the dye badly -- like all over furniture and skin - after several COLD water washes, as directed. BEWARE

Size guidelines misleading

I purchased a size 14 petite, and it's way too big. My waist is 33", hips 41", height 5'3". I suspect the 12 petite would be better.

light colors stain easily

I really love the color (pale blue) but disappointed that dirt stains won't come out. I literally only wore them once and can't get the stains out. If you're going to the beach, not a pool, definitely get a dark color.

Pockets not great!

I bought these shorts in 2 sizes. I bought my actual size at first but the pockets stuck out, so I ordered the next size up. One of the pockets was already torn, but I decided to wear them. The pockets still poke out and are annoying in the pool. Now that I wore them, I have to keep them. I may take them to the tailor and have her sew the pockets closed on both pairs. Frustrating.

great fabric for all kinds of water sports

SAdly THe sizeand style with myweivht just makes me look alot fatter sorry. the workmanship and style on a smaller would probably look wonderul.

Comfortable shorts for water recreation

I bought these shorts for non-swimming water recreation like kayaking and fishing. I bought the style with the built-in panty because I expect to get wet in the kayak. They fit great and are true to size. They are comfortable and seem to dry quickly.
