Nice swimsuit top

I purchased this this last month. I found the best way to put this on is to step into to it and pull up, and then put my arms through the shoulder straps. That's so much easier than trying to wrangle it on over my head.

SIZING OFF, OTHER ISSUES

The sizing on these tops are way off. I normally wear an 8 to 10 so I ordered a 10 based on their sizing. Not even even close. I probably would have to go up two sizes to get it to fit. The underwires flip upside down. Do not recommend.

Underwire Fail

I was excited to find a modest but not frumpy top but the underwire is a massive fail. It is difficult to put on and digs in when you bend over. Even worse, it is uneven, which creates this weird ripple effect at the neckline. I tried to adjust it a bit, thinking it was just from the packaging, but it is just sewn wrong.

Too small

I ordered a size 8, which is the size I have ordered from Lands before, but this was too small overall. I now have to return it and pay another shipping charge. I have ordered a size 10 and hope it fits. The shipping and return charges are ridiculous.

Only wearable when dry

Dear Lands’ End: Don’t you test swimming apparel on people in water? I cut holes in the lining that forms the bra because it inflates, and the air cannot escape easily because the white fabric lining is tightly knit. The white balloon shows since the bulging lining rises above the seam at the neckline. You need to use a mesh that would let air pass through.

Square neck tankini tops used to be quality

I have been buying the underwire tankini tops for probably 20+ years. Being larger busted, the square neck style has been my favorite. I don’t buy any others, but now may be forced to. It looks like it is being replaced in the plus sizes. The traditional cut and length is being replaced with a “ modern hem” which really means shorter, cheaper and no quality. Landsend seems to have made this the trend across the board, the tankini tops are not the only product suffering. So disappointing.

I love the pattern of the swim top, but do not need the underwire, will be returning the top. The swim skirt fit great.

Great, but...

I liked the quality, but I felt it was sized way too small when compared with other items from Lands End.
