Patterns are great, but swimsuits do not last long

I've been buying bathing suits from Lands End for quite a few years. This past year the quality has not been the same. I go to water exercises at least twice a week and the suits fade and the fabric becomes see thru quickly. I always buy on sale because they do not last long but I love that Lands End has petite sizes however most often I need to alter the leg widths.

To help extend the life of your swimsuit, we recommend rinsing it thoroughly in cool water after each use to remove chlorine and other pool chemicals. When laundering, machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and line dry. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and high heat, as these can accelerate fabric breakdown and fading. Good suit found on clearance.

I had purchased a used suit like this in size 8. I ordered this suit in size 8, and it seems a little big. I do like the substantial feel of the material.

Finally, good coverage and pretty.

Nice cut, quality and fit. I want full fanny coverage and this does it nicely. I'd buy it again. Size is 12 petite.

Looked faded before it starts

This design was not flattering. It looked like the suit had faded and drew attention to all of my figure flaws. Ugliest lands end product

Utilitarian, Useful, Not Exciting

Overall, the fit was fine for me, except the bra was a teensy large for me (40C). The print is nice. The design/styling is a plain, utilitarian suit, which will suffice for indoor swimming. Not sure if I'd wear it at the beach.
