Only thing lacking is POCKETS!!

This coat is great except there are NO POCKETS! Who makes a winter coat with absolutely NO pockets??!!?? Loved this coat and would have kept it except for this one huge design flaw- no pockets!

Very Warm

All in all, it's a well made coat that's very warm without being uncomfortably bulky. My only regret is that I ordered online versus trying on in store as I'm usually an XL in coats (most brands) but decided to go up one size since the last XL I had was too snug when wearing sweaters underneath. The Land's End 1X is too big. I probably could have sized down, but I am able to wear it comfortably with heavy sweaters and bulky sweatshirts underneath. It's warm, comfortable and the Black Friday price was great, so it's a keeper.

I really have been enjoying this jacket. Was surprised to find that one of the seams has opened up but place to sew it up.

On the fence...

Most women's parkas are similar. There isn't much difference between vendors. The "down" pattern is horizontal, and the fit is boxy. The hood is short and the fur is cheap. The adjustment pull for the hood is in the back of the hood, and you can feel it on your head. The wrist wind guards are made of polyester, they aren't knit. The pockets aren't deep and the zipper pulls for the pockets are small and hard to grip. The zippers on the pockets are hard to close. It is warm, and the length is good. I like the 2-way zipper which is better quality than the pockets. I'm on the fence if I will keep it as I got it for a good price, but I expect better quality for this vendor.
