Outside pocket tearing away from strap
The outside pocket is tearing away from the strap. I have had this medium canvas tote for 6 months and used it 3 times a week to go to the pool. I only used the outside pocket for my phone and locker lock. The rest of the bag is fine. I am seriously disappointed that Lands' End will not replace a clearly defective bag.

Did they recently change this bag?
I was torn on my review because this was one of my favorite and most functional bags of the year! I ordered one as a gift and I feel like it’s slightly different.. it’s a little bit smaller, straps are slightly shorter, and the tag is not blue anymore. Am I going crazy or is this different?!

This review is for a small with regular handles. I got it in the teal/natural. Great feel/weight. Useful pockets outside and inside. Very nice bag!! So cute!! I love it!!

Amazing
I’m genuinely floored at the quality. I thought it would be like, nice. But this is so thick and fantastic and so cute. love the zipper and all the pockets and key clip. Got to give as a gift and I’m so excited to give it, but now I want one for myself. Seriously the material is so legit i feel like I’d trust it with my life.

Versatile Bag
I carry one of these nearly every day. It goes with me to work to carry my essentials (purse, water bottle, a book, glasses, etc.). Great for road trips to carry the same, plus snacks. I've used it as a gym bag, or for an extra change of clothes, shoes, or a swimsuit, sunscreen and a towel. It's my handy dandy go-to tote. A nice selection of solid or patterned options, zip or open top so I'm always being tempted to buy "one more".

measurements and photo misleading
I purchased five medium open top bags based on the measurements and color in preparation for Christmas. The "natural" color is closer to cream, not nearly as fresh looking as the photos online. It is on the dreary side :( . As for the dimensions noted on the website for the medium bag, they are off a bit. All five bags were at least, 1" - 1.5" shorter and 1"- 1.5" narrower than the listed dimensions. That's an issue because I planned to fill each bag with a particular gift box that will no longer fit properly. Sadly, I had the bags monogrammed and thus cannot return. Also, the bags were super floppy, not standing on their own.

Hands down the best totes!
I couldn't tell you how many of these totes I have purchased over the years, but it's a lot. I own several, and purchased many for gifts for family, friends, teachers, etc. I love them. Everyone I've given them to love them. So fun to personalize, and are so heavy duty. They hold so much! Have used them as a purse, for library books, a carry all for the car, groceries and even to help family move! They are the absolute best.
