Great style, needs more function

I bought this coat in different colors and sizes (regular and petite) with the hope of having it be my only coat for one month while I am snowbirding. I love the style - fits great over sweaters and kept me warm on a cold day's walk for 20 minutes. However, I am not keeping the coats. It needs an inner flap behind the zipper in case rain/sleet seep through; without the flap, rain could get through. It could also use slant pockets in addition to the pockets on front which will also allow rain to seep in. Slant pockets could be incorporated behind the front patch pockets. So, as much as I like the style and colors, I am returning the coats.

Coming apart at the seams

I've only had this coat about a month and a half and the seams are already starting to come apart. Land's End quality is not what it once was.

White coat-- trim color is brown, not black!

Purchased the white coat thinking it had black trim. It does not, it's brown. Only one picture of the white coat reflects the accurate color of the trim. Also, this coat is not as warm as its rating. I wore it today in 20-30 degree weather and was cold. I'm also concerned about other reviewers saying it's not water resistant. Overall, it fits well and the length is wonderful for covering the legs, but I'll probably send it back.

Twisted sleeve

I am so annoyed because I purchased this coat SOOO excited for a lighter winter coat that wasn't bulky. When it arrived, I tried it on but one of the sleeves was not sewn correctly- I can't even explain it, it was like someone twisted the sleeve and then connected it to the main coat. I returned it and of course the coat is now sold out so I can't re-order.

this is a market place item not sold by Macys. It did not say that when I purchased it. Nothing wrong with it but I dont like surprises.

Environmentally friendly coat!

I love this coat. I love that it uses recycled mastic and us feather free. It is very warm although may not be warm enough for deep winter, bug works perfectly in fall with a mockneck sweater later.

Color not quite as depicted

I bought the Dijon yellow and I love it. Only thing is the contrasting trim ( which I thought was black) is actually a brown. Not horrible but would have liked it to be black like the pictures look.
