Worst thing I've ever bought from lands end :(

I don't even know where to start. I couldn't find the light weight thermaskin base layers from last year. It seems like they are now an "improved" fabric, which makes them too thick to be comfortable for me. I needed something that would be able to stand up to being work under regular winter clothing, but that was also slim and light enough to go under tights, a long sleeved shirt, trousers, etc. I was very reluctant to try the silk layers. They hang awkwardly, and don't even dry as quickly overnight as one would hope. They don't have a good amount of stretch, but sizing up makes them very unflattering. They also don't provide a good barrier between my skin and clothing. Do not recommend: unattractive, expensive, and low functionality. I've never bothered leaving a review before, but these two tops (tank and short sleeve) upset me enough that I thought maybe I ought to.

Not good at keeping you warm

I bought this to replace the large size I previously purchased. What a disappointment this one is. The fabric is very thin, it does not keep you as warm as the previous one. I guess my loyalty to Lands is not going to be maintained. Several items I have ordered this year have been more cheaply made with thinner materials than those ordered a year ago. What gives Lands? Doesn't quality count any more?

Fabulous vest

This is a really comfortable vest. It stops me overheating like the synthetic ones and is perfect under jumpers for the colder weather. I'm normally a size 8-10 and the size small is a very generous size on me. Very happy!

Essential for wearing 7 months of the year!

This is my third purchase of this item over the last 12 or so years. It is warm despite being thin so as to not show underneath clothes. Land's End, keep on making these silk undie shirts! They are worth the price.

Quality of silk not what I expected

I bought this tank and a long sleeved silk tee to wear as winter base layers. I’ve worn silk under layers for years and still wear some pieces I’ve had for 25-30 years. Alas, I’m afraid these pieces will not last. They are both already starting to pill under the arms. The price for these items was high, which I expected for good quality silk. I haven’t decided whether I’m keeping them. The tank also ran a bit large, so size down if you’re ordering.
