Nice, heavyweight ankle length LBD

I watched for this dress on Land’s End but it was never available in black, so when I found it on sale at Macy’s I quickly ordered it in size XS since reviews said it ran large. The dress is nice, but a heavyweight fabric and much longer than expected - ankle length, not midi. I’m 5’4”, 125 lb. It fits nicely and I’ll keep it, although may shorten it a bit. Love the pockets and flattering scoop neck in back.

Super cute and pockets!

Love the weight, cut and flare of this super cute, weighty cotton, and comfy dress. I'm a 6-8 but 5'1" and bought a Small. It was too long (ankles) and the shoulder straps were too long too (needed ½" less). The same dress and size in Petite would've been perfect. Alas. Returning.

Size down!

The straps and top were so open and huge that I sized down to get the right fit. It's great for what I need it for. The good traits--it's thick material, so hides flaws yet hugs you nicely with some stretch, style is really flattering, pockets are functional, skirt is long and full. The tricky part is just getting the size correct with online ordering. I wear a L or XL (bust size issue with some designers), but this one fits me in a medium. Hope it doesn't stretch out. It's a GREAT dress!

Returning

This dress looks nice on the website and yes the material is a little heavy to be a sleveeless dress, I ordered a meduim and it comes to my ankles, I'm returning not what I expected.
