Terrible fabric

I bought 3 of these mock t-necks in different colors. After opening the 1st one & feeling the fabric, I didn't even bother opening the other two. This fabric is very odd. It's very thin, very stretchy, and nothing that, to me, even resembles a cotton top. Lands End cotton products have declined in thickness & quality over the years, but this is the final purchase for me. I have returned all 3, and reached the end of the line in terms of trusting the company.

Tight Head/Neck - Don’t Wreck Your Hair & Makeup

I bought the black tee. It was a little too large & thin. The head/neck opening was very tight. I have a small head. I wore a net cover over my face just in case while trying it on. Otherwise I would have gotten makeup all over the tee. And it totally wrecked my hairstyle. Nope.

Very Soft, Not Much Shrinkage

This mock turtleneck is soft and comfortable, and the material is a nice weight, not the tee shirt thin material of some turtlenecks. Pleased that it did not shrink much (if at all) after the first couple of trips thru washer and dryer. I am size M but ordered a size L because so many cotton turtlenecks shrink significantly in after just several washings/dryings and quickly become too short in torso and sleeves. A Med in this would worked, but I am happy with the very roomy large!

Perfect mock turtleneck

I like everything about this turtleneck. It's relaxed feel, colors, nice thicker cotton and Regular Small is long enough for me. I am 5'8 and 124 lbs. I bought this turtleneck in Tall Small and it was way too long.

Sleeve ends too wide

I purchase this product quite often and have been happy with my purchases. On my last purchase of mocks, I noticed the sleeve ends, that usually fit close to the wrist, were about 2 inches too wide. It actually looks like a defect. Is this the new standard? Is so, I will not be purchasing them in the future.

Colors vary in feel and loft

I first bought this mock neck in the ivory/black breton stripe and was expecting a smooth almost cool feel to the fabric as is usually the case with higher quality 100% cotton. I was surprisingly impressed (and so so happy!) when the fabric was soft and warmer feeling. It had a loft (puffy, coziness) to it that almost felt like a light sweatshirt, which made me double check I received the right item because I wanted to order another! When I then ordered the solid maroon-ish color, it came in the smoother (less warm) version I had originally been expecting. Since it was also a slightly different color than something I was trying to match it with, it went back. The stripe top is definitely a full 5 stars in my book but the inconsistency of the fabric feel across colors is what made me drop a star overall for this review. It is otherwise a high quality top that's very comfortable and I would highly recommend if you're in the market for something like this.
