Great fit bad material

I like the fit of these pants. Why I am taking 2 stars off is because of the material. I purchased a pair a couple of years ago and the material smelled really bad like strong toxic chemicals. It took 14 washes to get the smell out. I thought I bought a bad pair. The pair I just bought also smells really bad like chemicals. I am on the 9th wash. I am surprised no one else has mentioned the smell.

Not the same Jean!

I’m really disappointed. I ordered a petite large (I already have 2 other colors of this Jean)…loved them. This time the pants I received are also listed as petite large but they are 3” shorter than my other pairs and 1” less in width. SO disappointed!

Comfortable…but…

These are very comfortable. However the legs are VERY baggy for the size recommended. And they do snag easily.

Strong smell!

These jeans seemed super-comfortable, but unfortunately I could not keep them. The chemical odor was very strong—two washings & airing outside didn’t help.

Disappointed

I have bought these Starfish jeans since they were introduced. I loved them. I am a tall the the fit was perfect for me. Like other comments that I have read, I too felt the original material of cotton and spandex were so comfortable. The most recent purchase seems to be a high rise with the high rise too high. I felt like there was extra material bagging in the crotch. I hope you bring back the original jeans as a choice. For me, this new version isn't as comfortable. Will be returning.

Knit jeans

I have purchased these in all 3 blues…. Would love to see black, brown and cream. They are so comfortable, fit so well and do not sag. Can wear with the new cropped oxford look, a sweatshirt, or a blazer. They are the BEST day pant. I am 5’7”, 132 lbs, and purchased size S

The most comfortable jeans ever!

I bought these as they were described as Knit. They feel like a knit, look like a jean and are the most comfortable jeans ever! I am older and have a bit of a stomach. They come up to the waist so no muffin tops. I would highly recommend for comfort and look
