Not Waterproof
I just wore this on a rainy hike yesterday and got soaked to the bone. It’s not waterproof. False advertising. I’m very disappointed.

Short in the sleeves
Bought the 2x and fits fine but the sleeves are too short. Needed to add 2”.

Runs small in bust and arms
There are 5 versions of the squall jacket. This version is "semi-fitted" which means tighter/smaller thru the bust and upper arms. Same width at hips. I like to wear with sweater under. My current squall jacket is 25 years old and ready for replacement. Sad about measurement changes.

Excellent quality, kept me dry.
It's definitely a rain jacket! I got caught in a huge downpour in Portugal and when I finally made it to a dry area, I was entirely dry underneath! This is a great jacket! I would say, since it's not lined, it doesn't provide a significant amount of warmth, so it's not a winter jacket, but for milder temps (high 50s - 60s) it's absolutely perfect. And thank you to Lands End for making size "tall" - my 6'0" frame thanks you! Oh, also, it packs into its own pocket which is such a great travel flex 💪🏼👊🏼

NOT WATERPROOF
I bought this coat because I was going to the UK and the weather reports were rain all the days. This coat just soaked up the rain. It was the first time I used it so I don’t understand how you can say this is waterproof. Please explain what waterproof means to you. I have loved all your products but this one needs a change in what you guarantee.

No two way zipper
Was going to buy this since everything is perfect except the zipper. The zipper is not a 2-way closure. I’m tired of buying jackets that can’t accommodate sitting in a car, on a chair or just sitting. Yes, it seems to give room for us gals with wider hips, but then it looks too large. What does it cost extra to have this kind of zipper put in initially? Thanks but no thanks.
