Shell fabric is too thin, fragile

I purchased a black Ultralight packable Down jacket in the spring of 2024 and loved it - until the sleeve ripped when coming in contact with my car door. I was so sad, I bought another in 12/2024. A beautiful green. Wore it all season and found another rip in two places on the back. I am thinking the fabric is too thin, despite being a beautiful, packable jacket which is the perfect length, I will not buy another.

Brought this jacket for my mum . She loves it as it Lovely warm,well cut and light jacket and she loves the brighter inner jacket colour. Also most importantly for her is the length of the sleeves - just right !

Thin but cozy

I've been sitting outside in 40° F and 20 mph wind for about an hour and I am surprisingly comfortable! This jacket is very lightweight and attractive. One star off for the arms being too short. Land's End is going to give me a complex about my arm length.

Zip problems

Zip does up on the mens way round for some reason. Zip is not 2 way.

Warm and light

Nicely made and surprisingly easy to fit into pocket found sewn inside the jacket. The only thing that I found disappointing was that the zipper does not have an opening at the bottom. I purchased a Tall XL and was pleased with the length of the sleeves.

Wonderful jacket !

I love this jacket ! It is lightweight, warm and so comfortable. I ordered a size up so it for over sweaters , but I think it would have been fine in my regular size . We went to Door County in Oct. the winds were night and I put the hood up . Never slid off because the zipper can come up the neck to secure the hood . Best purchase !
