Not all leather

I will first start by saying the foot bed and width were great! The shaft of the boot was huge and I have very athletic calves. I have owned quite a few pair of western boots in my time and these by far were the cheapest looking. I know the price point was low and I should have known better. For a boot that claims to be leather these look like they are plastic. They were boxed back up and are being sent back.

Awesome boots!

These boots are fantastic! For me, they run true to size. I usually wear size 8 to 8 1/2 in closed shoes, and the 8 fit me perfectly. The pair that I received were a little darker brown than the photo, but I still really like them. And I got several compliments the first time I wore them! I was a little worried because they seemed stiff out of the box, but a website I found suggested ways to break in the leather a little bit before wearing them. I just flexed the sole (where your foot bends naturally when you walk) and then flexed the shaft at the ankles to the right and the left. I did that once a few days before wearing them, then wore them to work and prayed for the best. They were comfortable all day long! My feet were not sore or tired, even after lots of walking. I highly recommend these boots!
