Colorful shoes smell awful

Colorful shoes are my thing. I have many. These are lovely, prettier than I expected, here’s the problem; they smell AWFUL. I got them last week. Unpacked them and tried them on. All the while thinking they reeked of diesel or chemicals or both. They are now sitting in my backyard as a try to get rid of that smell. If the smell doesn’t disappear, I kept the box to take them back. I hope that doesn’t happen. They are so me. I can’t recommend until I know if the smell disappears.

BOOTS HAVE BAD CHEMICAL SMELL

Boots smelled like chemicals. I did not bother to try them on, re-packed and sending back.

Terrible chemiical smell!

I did not even bother to try the boots on—they smelled awful! I rather doubt if they are leather too. Side zippered shoes/boots are often hard to put on and uncomfortable. Returning these boots.
