Scratchy and heavy

I typically do not buy all cotton sheets because they tend to be on the thick/heavy side. I live in Florida and it’s hot for most of the year here so I prefer silky and lightweight sheets. However, the reviews were so glowing on these sheets that I took a chance. I wish I hadn’t. I washed them first, and put them on my bed. I could tell they were heavier than I liked, but the true disappointment was when I climbed into bed and felt the scratchy cotton on my body. They are not smooth at all and feel like they’ve been used hundreds of times in a low end motel, not brand new with supposedly high thread count. I do not recommend anyone by these sheets. No matter where you live.
